I wish someone had told me this a long time ago:
In those early years of studying herbs, I was hoarding herbal tips like a full-time job. I collected recipes, remedies, and herb profiles. I read dozens of books. I enrolled in multiple herbalism courses and then later, became a student at the most prominent herbalism training programs I could find.
But it ultimately all left me feeling a little... disappointed. Disjointed.
Like I was still missing a really critical piece of the puzzle.
That's when I realized I didn't need more herbal information.
We're drowning in information already.
Another reel isn't going to fix it. Another "10 herbs for anxiety" post isn't going to fix it.
A pretty Instagram tip can teach you something interesting, but it can't give you a real education. And it can't give you discernment either.
Herbalism isn't about memorizing "this plant equals this symptom."
It's about learning a new way to think.
And you need a clear path forward.
A path that teaches you how to view the world like an herbalist.
And a path that doesn't ask you to set your Bible down to walk it.

I've been through multiple herbal programs. I've read the books, grown the plants, made the remedies. I've learned from people I respect, and taught what I've learned. Herbalism is part of our family business now. And I'm still learning... I hope I never stop.

I remember sitting in an herbalism conference thinking:
"Why does learning about the plants God made have to come wrapped up in a worldview I don't share?"
I didn't want to throw out the good herbal knowledge. But I also wasn't willing to compromise my faith to get it. And I know I'm not the only woman who's felt stuck in that place.
WHERE IT ALL BEGAN
Women kept asking me, "Amber, where do I even start?" And I struggled to give them an honest recommendation. Every single place I've studied herbs has included some form of New Age beliefs and I don't feel good sending any of my sisters to learn.
So I started thinking about the school I wished had existed when I was beginning. Not another list of herbs. Not another recipe collection.
