Do You Long for More?

Women used to know what grew right outside their doors.

What to gather. What to plant. What to turn into medicine.

That knowledge got passed mother to daughter, grandmother to granddaughter, woman to woman.

I'm not saying everything was better back then. I'm thankful for modern medicine and for science - I use both.

But progress doesn't mean we have to forget the good things worth remembering. And it doesn't mean we have to study God's creation through a worldview we don't believe.

I think that's why so many of us feel this quiet pull back toward the garden, back toward herbs, back toward home remedies and old skills.

Ultimately, we are all feeling a call back toward a way of learning that still honors the Lord.

Does Herbalism Feel Overwhelming?

Maybe herbs just kind of found you. You bought a book. Then another. You started saving posts. You bought a few dried herbs. You planted some chamomile, lemon balm, peppermint. You made your first elderberry syrup. You learned a few solid concepts, but you have no idea how to take it to the next level.

• You've got pieces of herbal knowledge scattered everywhere: notebooks, screenshots, half-finished books or courses. 
• When someone you love actually needs herbal support, you're still unsure and turning to Google. You are constantly doubting yourself.
• You're always second-guessing: Is this safe? What's the dosage? Tea or tincture?
• You feel frustrated with wading through teaching that doesn't line up with your faith.
• You've got information. You just don't have confidence yet. You need a clear path, rooted in scripture and herbalism experience.

WHERE IT ALL BEGAN

Women kept asking me, "Amber, where do I even start?" And I struggled to give them an honest recommendation. Every single place I've studied herbs has included some form of New Age beliefs and I don't feel good sending any of my sisters to learn.

So I started thinking about the school I wished had existed when I was beginning. Not another list of herbs. Not another recipe collection. A real path - somebody saying: start here, learn this next, here's why it matters, here's how it all connects, here's what's safe, here's what to question, here's where your limits are.

In Daughters of Eve School of Herbalism, I'll take you on a journey where we learn to know, make, and serve. 

KNOW

We learn the foundational herbs, the language of herbalism, herbal actions, energetics, body systems, safety, contraindications, how to research, and how to ask better questions. 

Good herbalists don't know everything. They know how to think, ask better questions, and find a solid answer.

MAKE

Herbalism can't stay in a notebook. We get practical and make teas, tinctures, infused oils, syrups, honeys, oxymels, liniments, and salves. We stop saving recipes for "someday" and start making them today.

You won't just know what these preparations are. You'll understand how and why to make them and when to use them appropriately.

SERVE

For most of us, the most important place this knowledge will ever be used is right at home, caring for our families, teaching our kids, keeping this practical wisdom alive. But you'll be equipped to serve others too.

By the end of our journey, you'll be equipped to confidently use what you've learned to step into serving others as a Community Herbalist.
